Are you editing the correct file? Are you using widgets? If you are using widgets you may want to put your code into the Text widget or download the PHP widget and put your code in there. That way it will be easier for you to move things around in the sidebars.
I am using widgets but if I am, why did it let me post the banner without using my widgets (for the side bar)? I didn’t initialize the Site and that’s what I’ve discovered.
Would be easier to put the code into the text widget?

No.. he isnt saying edit widgets.php.. he said install a plugin called php widgets – then stick your code in there…
ALTHOUGH it doesnt seem to me to be an issue with any of that.. sounds like the CSS is kicking things around because it doesnt like the size of things.. but i have no idea which “banner” you are talking about

All I found were side bar widgets to install. Is that okay?
When I go to widgets, I’ve noticed that I don’t have “available” side bar widgets. Sound right, based on what you told me to do?
I do have on the right side of the widgets page, a Side bar 1 & 2.
I’m guessing that once I install the side bar widget I can drag it to either widet (1 or 2) and then add code? Or is there a preference of either 1 or 2?
sidebar 1 and 2 are probably located in different areas on your blog.. so you should just put one thing (anything) in each and see where they land.
When you do that come back and ask again.. i can’t magically see what your admin side looks like, nor can i see your php code.. So this is really hard. Not to mention your grammar makes everything you say really REALLY hard to follow.
Okay, placed two different codes (pictures) in text and put them in each Side bar(1 & 2). One went to the top left, below the header picture & the other went to the top right, below the header picture. My banner that appears on the right of my page also went to the top right, underneath my header picture and below the picture I added.
I also lost all my original side bar link pages on both side (fixed now).
Can you make out anything that happened here or what’s going on with my side bars?

no.. mainly because you didnt offer any pictures of what is happened.. You are using overly VAGUE terms and making it really hard to visualize it.

I tried to be as clear in my presentation as possible and I’m sorry you can’t visualize it.
Let’s put it this way, the pictures didn’t go where I wanted them to go & I told you exactly where they went (the wrong place). I’d like them to go below all my main Links that appear on either the right or the left.

I see no code and no visualization.. You want hand held help, you will either have to wait or pay someone.. You want normal help, you post as much info you possibly can and be as thorough as possibel and you MIGHT get help
Giving you the answer is not as easy as telling you to change a setting in your admin.. Every website has different coding.. so no. can’t really help you much
