We have our file permissions set to 775 for wp_plugins.

When we set to 755, our plugins are unable to update and we get an error telling us we have incorrect permissions.

So, is there something we are doing wrong, incorrect settings, etc.

    Guidance is appreciated.

    Thanks,

Hi, can you share some information like specs regarding the sever your site is hosted in. This is the same question I asked for your other support thread.

    Thank you

This happened at AWS and InMotion.

    Both running Apache/Ubuntu

Did you speak to your host about this issue?

I spoke with the hosting company about this.

They are looking into it and I will send more information once we get something more definitive.
