Table cell background color not showing

Finally found a theme we like, and pretty much have it setup the way we want it, but I have encountered a small issue. For some reason when trying to show a table on a “page” that once its published the colors of cells do not show up and it comes out all black and white. I am trying to use color to call attention to status of equipment. It shows properly in the visible view in edit, but on regular surfing it is not. Is this being blocked somewhere?
