Can you try with Astra in version 3.1.1 ?
Same here… although in the Changelog of Version 3.1.1 is mentioned that it is fixed – it is definitely not.
Made a Rollback to Version 3.0.1 and everything works fine.
I have exactly the same problem on two of my sites. Both have the Astra theme installed and the update to version 3.1.1 has a problem. Can’t change the color of links and submenu text. Can you help solve the problem?
I have just discovered the same problem – same as previous comments. The previous version works fine. It seems like the customiser sub menu settings are not having any effect. That is, version 3.0.2 works ok and version 3.1.1 does not.

same issue – current band aid fix:
add the following to Additional CSS Customiser:
.main-header-menu .sub-menu {
background: rgba(0,0,0,0.0);
}

Thank you for pushing an update. It works fine for Web.
Unfortunately you still cant get a transparent menu for tablet or mobile.
Issue seems to be with being able to choose any color (gradient and image background works fine).
I hope you get this fixed too.
