    Hi,
I create a gallery by importing files directly from the upload / photogallery folder. Once the images are loaded, they are resized and checking via SFTP I see that 3 folders are created.
    1) folder with resized images
    2) thumb folder, with thumbnails
    3) “original” hidden folder with images of original size.
For reasons of space on the server I would like to delete the original images (larger and heavier), then I delete the hidden “original” folder via SFTP. But when I do a preview of the gallery, when I click on an image the “original” folder is recreated and the resized image appears. In this way I have a duplicate that takes up a lot of space. How can I prevent the “original” folder from being automatically recreated?
Please help me because this plugin is very important for my site

  • Dear @piolo1985,
I am extremely sorry for the belated response.

    Every image has three sizes:
    (lightbox version(photo-gallery, photo-gallery/imported_from_media_libray), thumbnail(photo-gallery/thumb, photo-gallery/imported_from_media_libray/thumb)
    and original(photo-gallery/.original, imported_from_media_libray/.original)).
The “imported_from_media_libray” is just a folder that contains the images.
The files in .original folder are only for resetting images after “rotate”, “set watermark” actions etc, so if you do not use that functionality, you can remove that folder.

    Sincerely,
