Hi there,
Thank you for using Webpushr. We keep a very close eye on the total delivery metrics (Successfully sent, Delivered, Clicked, Closed) at an aggregate level and we see no variation at this time. All systems are fully functional at this time. It is most likely a local issue to your site. This usually happens when there is, or has been in the past, a service worker conflict on the site: when more than one plugin are trying to activate a service worker. We recommend that you try to subscribe on your site using multiple devices to see if you are able to subscribe and receive push notifications. For more personalized support including the option to speak to one of our engineers, please e-mail us at support@webpushr.com. We’d also be happy to look at your site to make sure there are no service worker conflicts.
Webpushr Support
I am subscribed to my site on my mobile and receive notifications.
Is it possible for subscribers to not get notifications even when they are sent by Webpushr?
There are many reasons why push may not be delivered. Below are some of them:
1- User has not been online.
2- User has changed their device
3- User has not visited your site in a while. Browsers automatically expire push subscription if the user does not visit the website for a while.
4- As mentioned previously, a service worker conflict can cause delivery issues.
5- User clears their browsing history and does not revisit your site.
etc.
Oh, thanks for sharing this information.
Previously, I didn’t know that browsers expire push subscription when an user doesn’t visit my site for a while.
If a user is offline, will he receive my notification once he comes online?
