Do you have the API key filled in cdweeks ?
Yes I have the API key and the test button showed it seemed to be working.
OK, can you share the URL to a page with LYTE vid. with a missing title so I can have a look at the HTML source?
Page is https://bidwellschoolofmusic.com/
Been doing some optimization on this site and yes the huge slideshow and photo optimization is next on my list 🙂
Anyway underneath that is is the youtube video. Placed using this shortcode [lyte id=’b66SrJ6AZcU’ /] but the generated url in the source code has a “showinfo=0” in it.
Well, showinfo doesn’t affect the LYTE player (and is a deprecated parameter anyway), so that’s not it.
I had a look at the HTML source and the title is indeed missing, so it’s not a matter of it being hidden (which was my wild guess). But I just tried on my own blog (unpublished though) and I do see the title:

Do you have LYTE vids elsewhere on the that do have a title, or are they missing everywhere?
Thanks for your help. I’ve done some testing and it’s really weird. Anywhere else on this site that I place the same shortcode, it works fine, and it also works fine in that same spot on a clone on my server: https://bidwellbeta.christineweeks.com/
I’m sure it’s something weird with this site and nothing related to the plugin, so I don’t expect you to take any more time on this. Really appreciate your quick responses earlier.
Maybe try the trick on https://blog.futtta.be/2015/04/27/how-to-see-wp-youtube-lytes-cache-for-a-post/ to visualize (and remove) the LYTE cache for the page on which it does not work?
Ok I just cleared the LYTE cache in the plugin settings and it’s working now. Thought I tried that but anyway it’s all good. Thanks very much! It’s my first time using this plugin and I’m very happy to have found it, as the performance benefits are clear. I will start to use it on my other sites too!
