Under advanced setting have force path based rules. However, am seeing all of the various /doctorate /programs /masters and /certificate (with lots of children) being covered by two conditional rules: is_single and a blank rule, no conditional tag on it, very strange, cannot edit that tag to add say “none” or even tweak the CCSS because I get an error telling me I need to specify a tag.

When I look in the job queue, I only see pages such as https://www.gradschools.com/masters/business showing as an instance of is_single, and never by path.

This is causing use BOTH CLS issues and is breaking certain features such as our read-more tag. Have screen captures and additional documentation.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

the is_single ones imply the pages are not pages (in WordPress speak) but (blog)posts. if you want I can provide you with a code snippet to tell AO to use path-based rules for posts (is_single) as well.

the empty one is a bit of a mystery really, as such a rule should not be there and I’m not sure how it would get triggered .. maybe simply delete it?

quick follow-up re. the empty ones; AO 2.8.2 which I’ll push out this weekend should not generate blank rules any more.

feel free to ping me here if you’d like that code snippet!
