I am thinking of migrating to your plugin, because the other one [image-watermark] even with 1 year without update and it is probably dead or dying or even abandoned… has a few options that you lack.
but the simple fact of seeing this plugin updated, gives it the first place in the watermark segment and it is the hope of a better future.
I just want you to be aware of this fact and how people view things in the plugins wordpress world now.

now the problem, i’m annoyed to have to manually add transparency in my png images, to juggle between wodpress and photoshop to see if I have the right transparency.. whereas [image watermark] proposes to do it right now directly (png included).

    Options

what is the line of magic code you are missing to do it too?

it will also be easier to have the possibility of fixing height x width more clearly.

text mode is good, but for example I have a client who want text like this

    Reapter-watermark-Text

very very annoying and not practical to do it with photoshop, try you will see..

It must be an option to add “repeated text and cover the whole image”
even Masonry Layout or Random Layout would be a significant addition . the essential that covers the whole image.
I hope it shouldn’t be super hard to make these adjustments 🙂

    Hello,

Thanks for the interest in Easy Watermark and all the suggestions.

Currently, there are two ways of adding the transparent image watermark in our plugin. You can add png image containing desired transparency, or you can add a jpg image and set transparency in the watermark settings.

We plan on adding the opacity support for png in the Pro version of the Easy Watermark plugin.

Also, the option to repeat a watermark is planned in the Pro version.

In the upcoming 2.0.0 Easy Watermark version there will be some adjustments in watermark sizing options.
