Hi there, this happens because unlike facebook and some other platforms, twitter does not always crawl the URL being sent to it immediately to pull the featured image.

But once the post is actually on your blog for a bit it should work share with the image just fine, even after the tweet has been shared because Twitter is the one “grabbing” the image to show from the link shared.

I run the link for the first tweet through https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator and now the image shows: https://twitter.com/Mexiconomics1/status/1361388303082209281

That tool is one from Twitter and it causes them to manually send a spider to crawl the URL and pull the relevant meta tags in other for it to show

Unfortunately, unlike Facebook, we can’t tell twitter “Hey, I’m about to make this new post please come grab its featured image now!”

Please also make sure you’re using the lastest version of Revive Old Posts

Ok, i see, i might have to crawl every post manually then.

It´s kind of wierd because this wasn´t happening a few months back, but i guess it´s somethging from twitter then.

Could it be a robots.txt problem from my website?

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

@eduardor123 I can’t say for sure, because when I ran the URL through the Twitter validator it didn’t give any errors. So this might just be an issue on Twitter’s end.
