Change order id

    Hi,

    We exported woo-commerce orders from the live site, then deployed the site from staging to live. But during importing orders to the live site some of the orders failed due to id conflict issue.
    If we update the Order Ids of existing will it cause an issue with pending or under processing, if yes please let us know what would be the best solution for this issue.

    Hello @vidyasri ,

    I am afraid overriding the order IDs of existing orders can cause a significant problem in the calculation of orders and other parts of the order mechanism because that is what ties everything of an order together.

    Since there is not default solution of order export-import for WooCommerce I looked for other solutions. I have found a good article on this topic that suggests couple of solution regarding this matter, please have a look – Moving WooCommerce Orders Between Sites
