Displaying child pages

I’m trying to modify my WooTheme to display the Featured Slider on pages of my choosing to display their child pages within the slider.
I’ve created separate slider php scripts which get called in specific template pages.
Here’s my problems:
1 – The slider is pulling in EVERY page
2- It doesn’t display any of the text in the pages
3- The slider is supposed to have previous and next buttons which aren’t showing up.

Here’s the code for one of the slider scripts, just trying to pull in all the child pages of page id 19. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks.
