H8i @niveenhaddad
I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!
The solution that you found there is a bit outdated already, I’m afraid.
We do plan to include “conditional” payments in future but I don’t have ETA.
The simplest solution here, even though not quite “elegant” would be to actually use two separate forms – one for paid and one for free events. If the registration data are the same, you could actually clone the existing form and just modified them both (original and cloned ones) slightly so the first one would use regular payment and the second one would have payment removed entirely.
I understand that this would cause two “sets of submissions” but it’s the safest and simplest solution for now, until conditional payments are implemented.
Kind regards,
Adam
Hello,
as explained above This solution won’t work due that event is for free but if they decided to buy books then they have to pay for the books that they bought,
isn’t there any modified code, or couldn’t you modify it to fit the current situation till you update the pluging, I can buy the pro version if needed.
best regards.
the code is working, I just change the condition and then it’s worked, thanks
Hey there @niveenhaddad apologies for the delay.
It took more time as we were checking with our SLS team if they could suggest something else, however, they mentioned that this code still should work.
And I was about to update here, but I see you confirmed it.
Let us know if we can mark this one as resolved.
Regards,
Jorge
