Remove Plugins From Directory | WordPress.org

Hi

I have published a few plugins to the wordpress plugin directory that I know are now broken. As I know better alternatives exist and I don’t have time to continue development I would like to remove them.

How do I do this?

Have you tried sending a request to: plugins@wordpress.org?

… and, perhaps, update the readme.txt file(s) to explain your discontinued support and recommended alternatives?

There may even be other plugin authors willing to adopt your work(s) and continue their development, too …

I vaguely recall that if you delete all your files from the svn repo it eventually gets removed.
