• After I upgrade to the latest version (2.9.2), every time I edit a post or approve a comment in the wp-admin section, once I save the changes I get an Error 404 – Not Found page.

This is very easy to reproduce. I just have to click edit on any post, click Update and I will get the error.

Any ideas of what is going wrong?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – I try switching to the default them but didn’t work.
    – I try resetting the plugins folder but didn’t work.
    – It looks like is a combination of plugins. If I enable only one at the time there is no problem. I still didn´t sort out which will be the wrong combination but if I find out, I will leave a message also here (besides informing the plugin creators).

    Thanks for your help.

The problems seem to be related to the Feedburner Feedsmith plugin. I have replaced with another one and now everything works fine.
