Have changed only the database information as required, and uploaded all the files to host nearlyfreespeech.net. Not changed anything related to the wp-url. But when I try to go to http://www.allaboutmanagingmoney.com/wp-admin/install.php I get the message

” Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /f5/managingmoney/public/wp-config.php on line 73″

(“managingmoney” is the short name given to the domain which is also accepted by the host). WP files were loaded into /public folder, not a separate wp folder.

    Know no programming. Please help.

Thanks. That was fast. I have made the settings to mysql. I had already created the mysql process, now I have created the database (using the same name as for the process), now I have set the privileges.

In the config.php file, I have not touched the secret key part, which I plan to do after the installation is running okay.

The message is “syntax error” so just to make sure that I had not added/deleted a comma or a space anywhere, I have re-downloaded wp and made necessary chanhes to config.php, and uploaded the new file to the site.

I get the same error msg. ” Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /f5/managingmoney/public/wp-config.php on line 73″
Does this refer to line73 (?) on config.php or to some other file that the code on this page calls?

all I get is “can not find server” error on your website

When I type in http://www.allaboutmanagingyourmoney.com in the browser I get the same error message regarding install.php.

Can I give you password to that site thru email so you can take a look? ( I cannot post it on the forum). Then you can post the correction on this forum so that others may also benefit.

    Sorry.
The errors were in creating the database on nfs. Corrected, and now installation complete.
    Thanks for your time.
