    After configuring all the required information accordingly, I tried sending an email from my contact form to test the plugin but I kept getting errors. I went back to the plugin settings and found this error;

    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.5.1 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
    You must provide at least one recipient email address.
    Consider running an email test after fixing it.

    I tried the test email too, but it just keeps loading and loading for long, then displays an error 500 page

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @thestrongest,

    The error message indicates that the email is sent without a recipient’s email address. However, if you’re sending a test email and the page keeps loading and loading, it means that your server tries and tries to make a connection with the SMTP host you’ve specified and eventually times-out so you get the error 500 page. This usually happens if you have incorrect SMTP settings or the outbound SMTP connection is blocked by some firewall in your server. Could you please let me know the SMTP settings you’re using?

    Thanks!

    Sorry for the late reply, I was actually expecting to get a notification of your reply. Back to the Topic.. I’m using the same process stated on wpbeginner’s website.

    Also, I’m having the same test page that keeps loading problems on a new website I’m working on… I don’t really know what could be the problem
