WordPress 2.9.2 Upgrade stall

I have never had problems using the automatic upgrade for WordPress. However, when I tried to automatically upgrade to WP 2.9.2, I keep getting the following:

“Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.9.2.zip.

Unpacking the update.”

And then it stalls and nothing happens after that (the browser finishes loading). Is there something I am missing? This is so weird, and it has never happened to me before.

Along with this, I am now getting the error “Internal Server Error” quite often. I don’t know if something funky in my server is causing the WordPress stall, or if the WordPress stall (and my repeated attempts to upgrade) caused the something funky in my server!!
