Hello. Images on my homepage slideshow (nivo slider) are blurry. I tried many settings,
but didn’t find how to fix it. Tell me where to look for a solution to the problem. Thanks for your time.

  • Hi,

The images appear to be processed by another plugin?

For example, this one has some numbers at the end which isn’t something we add. Schneider_pod-e1610653877723.jpg. If you access that image directly in the browser it’s similarly blurry.

Schneider_pod-e1610653877723.jpg. These numbers are added because I added several pictures with different sizes. These numbers were added when editing a photo. I tried to change the resolution of the photo, I thought this was the problem.
In the media upload section it is added with the same name.
If I open this picture in a browser, it is clear. Here’s an example.

And yet, if I select the coin slider, then the picture becomes clear, but stretched in width more than the browser.

I noticed some peculiarity. With a monitor resolution of 1920×1080, the pictures are clear. If the resolution is 1280×1024, the pictures are blurry. Can I change something to get a clear picture on all screen sizes?
    Thanks for your time

    Hi,

You can create different versions of the same slider with different styles/configurations, one for each device. Such that, you will have a slider for the desktop and a slider for Mobile.
Then, insert all these versions into the page and show the version of the slider that suits the device that’s navigating the page conditionally.

To do that, please follow these steps:
    Open your slideshow for edit
    Click Add CSS
Click the link “Hide on the desktop” or “Hide on mobile”
By clicking these links, a CSS snippet will be added to the CSS editor to hide the slider

Please let me know if this works.
    Thanks
