    Hi everybody,

do you know a way / plug-in on how to use dates as woocommerce variations / attributes and let them expire when the date is in the past?

For example we have these two variations that will be selectable in the woocommerce form (there are 3 dropdowns for type, location and date):

    variation 1:
    – type of course: cooking
    – location: New York
    – date: 05/25/2021

    variation 2:
    – type of course: baking
    – location: Paris
    – date: 06/23/2021

After May 25, variation 1 should expire and not be displayed anymore in the woocommerce dropdown form.

    Any ideas?

  • Hello,

Core WooCommerce doesn’t have a built-in functionality to set expiry per attribute, and I don’t know of any plugins that can automatically hide attributes at expiry. But since you are selling bookable products, we recommend checking out WooCommerce Bookings.

Hi maykato, thank you for your help! I have looked into Woocommerce booking and this should work. But is there any way to make the woocommerce bookings calender switch to a dropdown? If you have only 3-4 events over the year, a dropdown of the available dates gives a better overview.

    Thanks a lot!
