To get access to the Station and View POS. You need to assign the specific user access.
Go to POS > Settings > Users.
Under the ‘Individual Free User Accounts’ section
Select the user in the drop down, we’d recommend the Manager role for the account you are using to access the POS view.

But when I go to settings I also get a permission error.
Thanks for that additional information, sounds like the settings for the POS have a problem with Permissions. We provided on another support post forum the process to reset and fix the permission issue you are experiencing.
