I messed up when trying to add the shortcode you suggested on your site to add. I was modding the functions.php file from the WP dashboard and then this error started appearing : “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /public_html/mysite/wp-content/themes/mystique/functions.php on line 57”

I even replaced the directory completely with a new installation and still get it. I cleared out my browser cache but still have the issue.

ok I “fixed” it….too embarrassed to say what the problem was though..

    can we guess?
you put the code in the wordpress functions.php instead of the theme’s?

well I was actually uploading the replacement theme to another site’s ftp instead…I realized it 2 hours after trying and retrying….was such a n00b moment..haha

    you shouldn’t edit theme files.
mystique has a ‘user functions’ field in the theme options where you can add your php code, just like you would by editing the functions.php file
