Erro fatal Gutenberg

    Bom dia, após a atualização do plugin Gutenberg, alguns dos meus sites apresentaram erro fatal. Não conseguindo acessar o site e nem o painel de admin.
    Após renomear a pasta do Gutenberg, consigo acessar o site, porém, o painel não.

    Utilizando o modo debug, o site apresenta o erro abaixo:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function register_block_type_from_metadata()

    Por favor, alguém poderia me ajudar?

    For starters, I’m bummed to hear you’ve run into trouble and appreciate you reaching out here. It looks like you’ve run into the same error described here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/28075

    Can you confirm that you were updating to Gutenberg 9.7 when this happened? Further, can you let me know what version of WordPress you are using (you can find this information under Tools > Site Health > Info)?

    In the GitHub issue, the reporter mentioned that updating to WordPress 5.6 and then deactivating & reactivating the Gutenberg plugin caused the fatal Gutenberg error to resolve itself. Can you give that a try and let me know if that solved the problem?

    Hello @gutogelli

    I posted about this error on Github as Anne mentioned above.
    I noticed that in WordPress version 5.4.4 and older that a fatal error would happen when Gutenberg version 9.7 is activated.

    From my experience I had to click the Recovery link mentioned in the e-mail I received. If I could not find the e-mail then I had to login to the Web host/provider go to the control panel -> file manager and go into the plugin folder and deactivate the Gutenberg plugin. I did so by renaming the folder. It would automatically deactivate the Gutenberg plugin. I was then able to login to the site and update WordPress to 5.6. Then go back to the file manager and rename the Gutenberg folder back to its original name. Then to back to the WordPress site and activate Gutenberg.
