Remove Woocommerce Facebook plugin rights as an admin on my FB page

Hi, I tried to integrate my woocommerce site with Facebook pages through the Facebook plugin for woocommerce which was not successful but that’s not my problem, the actual problem is that in the process, woocommerce created a user with admin privileges on my Facebook page roles. Since then I am unable to remove this admin called woocommerce integration user from my Facebook page. This admin user is locking me from doing some adjustments on my Facebook page. How can we remove this integration user

Howdy,

I’m sorry for the issue here, that definitely doesn’t sound right!

Have you gone to “Page Settings > Page Roles” and then clicked “Edit” here:

If you do that, you should then be able to see the “Remove” option here:

You can also use that section and change the “WooCommerce Integration System User” from an Admin user to something else (but deleting it is best if you’re no longer using the plugin).

Hi Zack,
I followed your steps and now there is a message saying Removal request is pending admin approval. Both me and my colleague are both admins and there is no request to either of us to approve the removal of this user. what can we do now?

I checked on the Facebook Integration page and there was no woocommerce app there. I’m still unable to remove the admin

We haven’t come across this situation before, please try to remove the WooCommerce application integration from your business settings to see if that’s any better. The direct link for this should be here: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings – or Profile > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Business Integrations. Then try to remove the User.

If that doesn’t work, this is in the “Business Manager” territory and the issue removing the user is not really related to something the plugin controls (other than it adding the Admin user). If the steps above don’t help, the next step is to contact the Facebook team or concierge support for help. You can do that here:
