• Hi, Can anyone help me with uploading a plugin to subversion (http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/).

    I’ve got an email:
Within one hour, you will have access to your SVN repository at
    http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/myplugin/
with your WordPress.org/bbPress.org username and password (the same one you use on the forums). Of course the password doesn’t work at http://subversion.tigris.org/

After the description in the email, I was looking for a login page, there is no such thing at the link mentioned, so I don’t have a clue where to log in.

Than, here is a description: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/about/svn/#task-1

It does not mention to much about a software that needs to be installed, but after a few hours people figure it out i guess.

Than still no clue how to log in.

Even if you manage to get it work somehow, you’ll get the error: is not under version control. And you won’t get answers how to get rid of that and how to get it work.

I know, this whole svn project is a great thing, just the description sucks. It takes an eternity until people can google after a decent description. No wonder why most people cannot use it.

I still hope, that someone will bring me light 🙂

    Thank you!
