I want to use a page for my homepage to be able to insert a block before the latest posts of my blog. But using the “Recent Posts” block doesn’t show a pagination to see the older posts.

    How can I do this?

    Hi Raul,

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible. We understand that this feature could be useful for you. However, Twentig is designed to only use WordPress core features and therefore doesn’t modify the Latest Posts query.

A ticket for this feature was created but was closed by the Gutenberg developers: “We agreed that the ‘Latest posts’ block is OK the way it is. The moment we add pagination to it, it stops being ‘latest posts’ and becomes ‘all posts’.”

As an alternative, maybe you could add a button block (that links to your blog) below the latest posts.

    Have a nice day.

Thank you for your answer! I went with the button block approach and works kinda well (but I still would prefer to have a pagination hahaha).

Keep up with the amazing work!
