I am using a variable product on my website and am hosting the digital (virtual & downloadable) products on DropBox. On my side, the links to the 5GB files work just fine. However, once the customer purchases the product, the link to the file is always 500mb’s and is corrupt. This happens every single time for over the past 300 orders. I have tried generating new links, but nothing helps. Can I please get this resolved as this is putting a huge dent in my efficiency and orders? Thanks.

Hi @loafman33,

Quite unfortunate to hear about that.

To quote the FAQs section on Digital/Downloadable Products handling, “Links from some cloud storage providers, like Google Drive, only work when File download method is set to Redirect only (insecure).”
You may refer here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/digital-downloadable-product-handling/#can-i-use-cloud-storage-to-store-my-files-and-downloads

Therefore, you could opt to set the file download method to Redirect Only since you’re using Dropbox.
