Woocommerce product importer shows “import successful” but no products visible

    Hello,
    I used the default woocommerce product importer to import many variable products along with their variations. There were like 350+ items, so the progress bar froze multiple times and I had to refresh multiple times. At the end, half of the variable products were successfully imported with all variations. But half of them were only variable products without their variations with them. Now if I try to import variations of any variable product, it shows “imported successfully” but the variations does not show up. I am presuming this might be because ‘invisible’ data left on failed imports (when the progress bar froze earlier).

    1. I did woocommerce > status > tools > delete orphaned variations.
    2. I have a plugin called WP Database cleaner. I used it to clear “orphaned posts”.

    Its been a month trying to upload variations successfully. I haven’t found the solution. Its very frustrating. Please help!

    Hi @waqar004,

    Have you tried breaking the CSV files into smaller files? That often helps with situations where the importer freezes.

    You can also go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and see if there are any fatal error logs or other relevant logs from the time one of these imports failed. Those can often show you helpful error messages to point you in the direction of what needs to be changed.

    If this was my site, those are the two things I would do first.
