OK great, will look out for tat. Interestingly I have toggled to and from the TwentyTwenty WP theme and it behaves much better there, triggering exactly as I’d expect… have WP changed how it’s calculated in TwentyTwentyOne (or is there a bug?!) I wonder?
It’s not a bug. Each default WordPress theme that is released has a completely different set of designers / developers chosen (as far as I know). Rather than being an evolving entity like WordPress itself, the themes are all completely different and often used to show off the latest features of the new WordPress that is released with them at the time.
This time it’s all about the block editor.
The previous Twenty Twenty theme had a mobile breakpoint of 1000px, Twenty Seventeen was 768px. This new theme has a comparatively lower value of 482px.

OK, we’ve decided to add this as one of the premium options as it took a little bit of work to get right. Hope you don’t mind!
