Hi, I am looking to manually define the ID of my images – not finding where I can do this?

    Thanks,

    Hi @ntel,

Unfortunately we aren’t able to define IDs for Draw Attention images because they are WordPress posts, and WordPress does not allow for ids to be defined on posts.

Are you able to share a bit more about what you are looking to accomplish by defining ids? You can also feel free to reach out to our pro support email here:

    Hi! Thanks for the response.

I run a website with many categories and subcategories. Let’s say:
    – Team sports
    — Soccer
    — Rugby

    – Solo Sports
    — Tennis
    — Badminton

I have an ID assigned to each subcategories: Soccer is 101, Rugby is 102, Tennis is 201, etc. I am making Interactive images for each, would love to assign them the same ID so that I’ve no need to reconcile.

    Is this doable?

The Draw Attention IDs are chosen by WordPress itself. We do not control what IDs are assigned to each image.

WordPress uses the IDs as a unique identifier for posts, pages, categories, users, tags, and comments on your site database. WordPress does not allow the modification of the IDs since it could cause a conflict in the database.

    Hope that helps!
