    Hi Gijo,

Firstly, I want to thank you for creating these amazing WordPress plugins and your guides on WP Speed Matters have been an excellent resource for me.

So I’m facing an issue where iOS Users (On both Safari and Chrome) have to click on a link twice in order to open it.
It works perfectly fine on all Android and PC browsers.

This problem only happens when either Flying Scripts is enabled or WP-Rocket’s Delay JS feature is enabled.
As long as any single JS file is being delayed, this problem occurs so it seems to be independent of the JS file currently being delayed.
I tried deactivating every plugin one by one but still couldn’t figure out if another plugin is causing the issue.

Many WP-Rocket Users have also reported the same problem and here’s the issue on their GitHub: https://github.com/wp-media/wp-rocket/issues/3142

Here’s a video of the same that I found on that Github Issue: https://youtu.be/D1Pp45wLMhE

Someone suggested replacing touchmove with touchmove touchend and touchstart with touchstart touchend but that didn’t help either.

Here are the themes and plugins I’m using:

    Theme: GeneratePress with GP Premium

    Plugins:

    410 for WordPress
    Advanced Ads
    Akismet
    Beaver Builder
    Classic Editor
    Contact Form 7
    Flying Pages
    Header and Footer Scripts
    Imagify
    lazysizes
    Perfmatters
    Rank Math SEO
    Redis Object Cache
    Shortcodes Ultimate
    Table of Contents Plus
    Wordfence Security
    WP Rocket

    Hi,

I’ve tested it in my in my own website https://wpspeedmatters.com where some scripts delayed. However I couldn’t see the issue you mentioned. I can open links in a single click. Tested from iPhone in Safari browser.

It should be something specific to your site or due to some other scripts in the site.

Pls provide complete steps to reproduce the issue. A sample website were issue persists will also help.

I’m closing the issue for now.
