Getting 0 tracking results with Google Analyticator plugin
-
I recently redesigned my site. It used to be designed with FrontPage, and now it’s designed with WordPress (specifically with a ComicPress theme). The domain remained the same – hamstertails.com.
I had Google Analytics on my FrontPage site; I just copied and pasted the code and it worked great.
On my new WordPress site, I downloaded the plugin “Google Analytics for WordPress,” but I couldn’t get it to work; it kept saying 0 visitors when I knew there were at least a few. Then, I tried following the advice in this post: http://www.c4comics.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=196, which advised typing the Analytics code into my footer.php, and entering footer.php as the default page in Analytics.
That didn’t do anything either. Then, I downloaded the plugin “Google Analyticator” and followed all of the instructions, and as far as I can tell, it should be working, but it isn’t. It still shows 0 visitors to my site, when I know that there have been a few of us there every day.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me as to why the Analyticator may not be working, or what I need to do to get Google Analytics to work on my site? I posted this question on ComicPress’s site, and someone there told me to make sure I don’t have any filters set up on Analytics, which I don’t.
Thanks!
