Auto-Linking Not Working

I want to use the Auto-linking feature, so when I create a post and tag it with a term (ex. “chocolate”), the sentence, “Chocolate is the best ice cream flavor” would have the word “chocolate” turned into a link to the “chocolate” tag page.

I have default settings and it does not work. Please help, thank you.
