Categories dropdown includes non-categories

    Hello! I’m having an issue with the YMM (make model engine version modified with a “category” dropdown) where there are categories in the drop-down that are not actual product categories. Specifically, “Tire” (we already have a “Tires” category) and “Toyota”. My client also added “Body” as a new category and it isn’t showing in the drop-down.

    I saw an older forum post about “stuck” values but didn’t see a resolution. I have checked and cleared all caches.

    Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello,

    You should export the ymm.csv file and check if it has the category column.

    If it has than you should edit the category titles in the .csv file and import it back with the “delete existing values” checkbox checked.

    You can export the ymm.csv file on the page:
    WordPress dashboard -> YMM Search -> Export YMM Data
