Website got messed up after update

    Hello, after updating wordpress and plugins, my website disappeared and it only showed the message “stylesheet is missing”. I found the fix on forums (I activated the theme I used before) but then my page got all messed up (it was white before with black buttons that would turn blue when you hover over them), you can see it how is now by clicking on link above.

    Is there a way to make it like it was before and not having to all again from scratch?

    Hi there! It looks like your site has reverted to the default theme, Twenty Twenty-One. That may happen when your active theme is not found, or is broken.

    What was the theme you were using before the update? You may need to reactivate and/or reinstall it.

    Hi, thanks for your reply, as I said, I activated the theme I used before and some things returned (like buttons), but the overall look of page got messed up (even logo).

    From what I can see on the link you provided, it looks like Twenty Twenty-One is still the active theme:

    If you activate your original theme, and it still doesn’t look like you’d intended, it’s possible that any theme customizations you had made before the update were removed for some reason. I’m not sure why that might be, but someone else here may have a better idea.

    Oh, I see now, when I activate astra it shows “Stylesheet is missing” error and it automatically switches to “Twenty Twenty-One” theme.

    That is a bigger problem now…

    Do you have any ideas how to fix it?

    If the theme itself is broken, you may need to delete and re-install the theme.
