You might have to contact your webhost support team in order to have them set the correct permissions so the folder can be recognized.

I hope that helps! Let me know.

ps. Try logging into the site using FTP, create the folder, and then set the permissions.

    Hi,
    Look what hostgator is saying.

permission from our sever cannot be updated for this domain as its not connected to our server, permission needs to be provided from the server where its connected to

re: permission from our sever cannot be updated for this domain as its not connected to our server, permission needs to be provided from the server where its connected to

What HG is saying does not make sense. The connections-images folder is, in fact, on their server if you are hosting the WordPress website. If you are hosting your site with a different host and trying to change permissions on a different host/server … I’m not sure how you have WP setup to do that as that is a configuration I’ve never heard of in many years of providing support for WordPress.

I think it is more likely the support individual at HG didn’t know how to help you. I suggest that you request that your support ticket at HG be bumped up to the next support level, so you get a better-trained support person who understands their services better and can resolve the folder permissions for you. This is definitely not an issue with Connections; this is generally a simple thing that just works for any web host providing WordPress hosting. Manually having to adjust permissions is a very rare thing to have to do.

RE: So I need to give you bad review.

I’ve given you fast and accurate responses, and you want to give me a bad review for that? How’s that fair? What other plugin have you ask for support and received responses this quick? Even paid plugins, you would not get this level of support. If anyone has failed you, it is the HG support, not myself.
