1 column layout problem

Hi guys,

I’m quite new to the WordPress way of doing things so please bare with me. I would really appreciate your help with the following problem that I have with the very recent installation of Autofocus theme.

I was trying to activate the single column layout that Cole mentions to be available in his site. I tried to rename the home.php file, but it scrambles the site completely. I get a weird archive bar at the bottom and the images on the posts won’t load. I don’t have a clue on what’s going on. When I change the home.php file back to its default name, everything works fine again.

Has anyone found a solution for this matter? Could anyone help me?
