Popular, latest topics (widget?)

I’ve seen on the sidebar of some WordPress sites a box (maybe a widget?) with various tabs showing different informations, like categories and recent, or most popular, topics.
The tabs are swapped using a nice js effect (I think jquery o scriptacoulos).

Anyone know if this is a widget and what’s his name?
