    Hi All

I’ve deactivated all the plugins and reactivated them one by one. In doing so, it was the Gutenburg Blocks & Template Library plugin that was causing the below error message to appear on our site:

“Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /hermes/bosnacweb02/bosnacweb02bf/b1367/ipg.southamptonwoodrecyc/test/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 317”

You’ll see this if you visit at the moment as I put the plugin back live.

Any ideas what might be causing the clash and how to overcome it? I’m using the Astra Pro Theme.

    Thanks

    Rachael

    Hey @rclark85,

Are you using the Gutenberg plugin on your site? Let us know! 🙂

Hi. Yes I am although I believe there are two issues at play as the host is having to restore an old version of the site. Will write again when the site is restored. ☺️

    Hey @rachaelclark64,

Gutenberg is a beta plugin that isn’t always stable to use so we don’t recommend using it on a live site. It’s meant to showcase and test upcoming Block Editor features so better to avoid it on a live site.

    Let me know. 🙂

    Hi Hardeep

Thanks for your reply. Sorry – I’m talking about this plugin “Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library by Otter”. Is that the one you’re saying is in beta? I can’t imagine it is? Sorry if I confused things by shortening it to just Gutenberg.

To sort the problem at the moment, we’ve disabled the debug mode in wp-config to stop the error message showing but definitely appears to be a conflict with this plugin. Any thoughts on what might be causing it would be greatly appreciated in case it’s opening up vulnerabilities to our site.

    Thanks

No, I was talking about “Gutenberg” plugin but as you said, it might be due to this one.

Can you re-install Otter to see if that fixes it? If not, can you give list of all the activated plugins on your website?

    Thank you!
