• I am trying to get an image to sit to the left of the article, and have the text start at the TOP RIGHT of the image. However I am not having any luck figuring this out. I know it is a newbie question, if you could help that would be great!

  • your theme’s style.css is probably missing the corresponding styles:
    examples taken from the default theme:

    /*	Using 'class="alignright"' on an image will (who would've
    	thought?!) align the image to the right. And using 'class="centered',
    	will of course center the image. This is much better than using
    	align="center", being much more futureproof (and valid) */

    img.centered {
    	display: block;
    	margin-left: auto;
    	margin-right: auto;
    	}

    img.alignright {
    	padding: 4px;
    	margin: 0 0 2px 7px;
    	display: inline;
    	}

    img.alignleft {
    	padding: 4px;
    	margin: 0 7px 2px 0;
    	display: inline;
    	}

    .alignright {
    	float: right;
    	}

    .alignleft {
    	float: left;
    	}
    /* End Images */

    I appreciate the quick reply, however it did not work the way I wanted it to properly..

    Check out, http://www.shockenaw.com/indie/owen-steel/

    You will see what I mean

    Now try adding the CSS that alchymyth suggested…

    i missed to say, that you could try and copy the given css styles to the end of the style.css of your theme.
    and then press CTRL and F5 on your keyboard to refresh the browser cache, to make the style changes visible in your browser.
