Hi there @ianpurves!
Facebook for WooCommerce 2.0 came with some updated functionality and one of the changes introduced was the adding the creation of a system user in the setup process that the plugin relies on for tracking Pixel events more accurately (server side).
System users represent servers or software that make API calls to assets owned or managed by a Business Manager. There is more information here on what these system users do. Another resource that you may find useful can be found here.
After updating/installing the plugin above version 2.0, all merchants are required to go through a new setup process. In one of the steps, the user is created. The plugin creates the Partner Created System User and relies on that system user for all the information mentioned above. This is the system user that Facebook recommends to use. The other user called WooCommerce Extension V2 – Business Manager is also created but it should just be left as it is.
I hope that cleared things up. Come back if you have questions.
Cheers!
Thanks … so I have probably “tweeted” these as noting was working and there where x2 system users … sorry. How do I get things back to their original state … is there a config overview? Delete plugin and reinstall?
Thanks
Ian

It’s been quite some time since your last post, so I’d suggest removing the old WooCommerce Integration and then try a new connection with the latest version of the plugin.
Next Steps
FIRST PART:

It will finally get removed completely so you can make a new integration:

SECOND PART:
- Please deactivate the plugin and then delete it
- Then install the latest version of the plugin
- And then access your phpMyAdmin, we’re going to manually remove the database left over that’s not yet removed after the deletion.
- Please make sure that you create a full database backup before performing this step.
- Click on
wp_options table and then search for wc_facebook_, once found, please select them and delete them.
Below is the screencast of the process:

THIRD PART:
- Once the above steps are done. Please install Facebook for WooCommerce again, and activate it.
- Navigate to Marketing > Facebook, click Get Started.
- During the process of reconnecting back to Facebook, please make sure to unselect Instagram shopping, as from my experience, it will trigger an error “Something went wrong”, resulting in an unsuccessful setup, especially when you don’t have an eligible Instagram account for Instagram Shop, or outside the United States:

Please do the above steps, and let me know how it goes.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
