Hi @tomaslanzarini. Are you referring to writing a custom shortcode from scratch? In that case, you’d want to look at a guide like this.
Hello Austin. Thanks for the answer. But not.
I will go a little deeper into the question.
I have a unique product page made in elementor.
this page calls the product addons function of the “woocommerce product add ons” plugin.
The problem is in the way it carries this function.
The product options (product addons) are loaded glued to the purchase button, making the page confusing and unresponsive.
I need to find a way to call this function or separate it from the purchase button to make it readable and responsible on my page.
I figured that calling it using a shortcode would be the solution. But I am open to better solutions.
Hi @tomaslanzarini, thanks for clarifying. I don’t know of a way to control how add-ons are displayed programmatically like this. I’ll leave the thread open in case others have a solution, though.
This thread hasn’t gotten much traction, so I’m going to go ahead and mark it as resolved. Feel free to open a new thread if you have any further questions!
We also have a customizations page with resources for contacting a developer for help. You can also ask about this on the WooCommerce Slack Community or WooCommerce FB group which are great places for customization questions like this.
