MetaBox not available in page-edit

    Hi!
    I use the plugin to manage custom fields
    The Select-Metabox with the values was available when editing a page + in the quickedit-view
    since some time the selectbox is not available anymore in the pageedit-view BUT it is available in the quickedit-view

    WP 5.5.3–de_DE_formal, MetaBox 5.3.4
    The Gutenberg-editor is deactivated in the options of the DIVI Theme
    as the clients work with the PageBuilder DIVI and are confused by Gutenberg

    How can I restore the metabox in the pageedit-view?

    Hi,

    Meta Box has not supported to edit the field in Quick Edit view yet. I think it’s the meta box created by the theme or other plugins. If it created by the Meta Box plugin, please share the code that creates the meta box and fields for the page. I will check it on my end.

    well,
    the taxonomy is created by Metabox
    The seetings are documented here, I made a screenshot:

    there is an option to show the metabox in the quickedit-panel:
    “Show in quick edit?” Whether to show the taxonomy in the quick/bulk edit panel.

    Now I see that the setting to show the meta-box in the edit-page is unset, and the setting to show it in the quickedit-panel is set. I never set the metabox to be visible in the quickeditpanel

    Could it be that by an update these 2 options were mixed up?
    When I activate these 2 options, the metaboxes are available

    So my problem is solved but you should check whether these options were mixed up ;=)

    Not sure why two options mixed up on your site, check option Show on edit page? to solve this issue. So I mark this topic as Resolved.
