Contact Form 7 – upload file as required field

    Hi wordpress guys,

    I’m asking for advice regarding Contact Form 7 (WP 5.5.3).

    I have created 2 forms that have several mandatory fields, several optional fields and one file upload field.

    If I make the upload field mandatory, I can’t submit the form (even if I attach a file).
    <label> Attach resume (required) [file* cv limit: 10mb] </label>

    If I set the same field as optional, I can submit the form:
    <label> Attach resume (required) [file cv limit: 10mb] </label>

    Does anyone have an idea, how to solve this so that the field for the file is mandatory?

    Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Akismet Anti-Spam, WordPress Importer, and Yoast SEO.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Thank you for your advice. I investigate this problem and I have found solution (probably).

    I have had to change permissions for the directory “/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_uploads” to 775 (from the default permissions 755).

    Is it possible that permissions 755 is not enough for this directory?
