• I have just moved from a wordpress blog to my own domain – still featured by wordpress. I have looked everywere on this supportforum, and I can’t seem to find anything to answer my question.I’m sure it’s a simple answer, but I am not especially good at the technical language. But; how do I get a plugin button on my admin page? I’ve tried to download several plugins, but none is working.
It all began when I tried to get a widget from LinkWithin, and can’t even download the firs link described there. (www.linkwithin.com/learn)
    Can someone help?
    Thank you so much!
    Maria

    My domain is: http://maryathomewriting.com

  • airam09, you cannot upload plugins at WordPress.com hosted account, even if you paid have a domain name mapped to your blog at http://maryathome.wordpress.com

The only way you can upload plugins is if you are on a self-hosted WordPress.Org blog – where you need to purchase webhosting service in addition to a domain name, set up database, add theme, and maintain regularly and protect against viruses and hacks, among other technical duties and responsibilities of a WordPress.Org blog 🙂

Btw, since you are on a WordPress.Com hosting, please post your questions at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/
