Files placing

I’m having some troubles with my website.
I’m trying to get the site to work directly on the URL vavilov.ar but when I move the files with the file manager with Cpanel from public_html/wp to public_html and in my WP desktop switch the urls to vavilov.ar, the site stops working.
What am I doing wrong?
