    Hi,

I recently installed the plugin and created an xml based on the 19 products I have currently listed in woocommerce.
    When I import the xml into Google Merchant Center I get the error;

“Invalid or missing required attribute: id”

    and the not very helpful
“Please make sure all required attributes are valid and included in your data feed.
    Learn more
Below are some example items that are affected by this issue.”

And then it shows “Line Nr 5” over and over.

I have not changed the list of atributes that the plugin should put into the feed, and im unclear as to what required attribute is missing – anyone have an idea where I could have gone wrong?

    Thanks! 🙂

    Dave

    Hello Dave,

Could it be that not all of your products have an SKU number?

The SKU is the default source for the id. If a product has no SKU it will not get an id attribute in the feed.

There are two things you could do:
1- Add an SKU to all your products
2- Choose another source for the id. You could choose the “Post ID” as a source.

    Hey Michel,

    Thank-you!

I didnt set SKU for the products as it really doesnt mean anything to the way I use the store, but now I added and the ID error went away – thanks for the quick reply 🙂
