I just want to clarify what happens if I import a new CSV mid season, I downloaded all the games in order to edit some future games, shoul I re-import the whole CSV with all the matches, included the changed ones, or can I import just the three or four changed matches, and use the overwrite option.. I dont want to delete all matches and only show the new three. I hope im being clear, Thanxs!

Hi, if you want to add future games, only import the new ones and don’t choose overwrite.

When you choose overwrite, the plugin will delete existing matches and linked predictions first. So, overwrite means completely loosing old data.

ok thanks! then If I want to update 10+ games, im thinking of uploading the whole season, past matches with results included, plus the updated ones (they are future matches but they exist already on the site) and chose overwrite. This would delete all past predictions BUT will update them back when I run the calculation again right? thanks as always!

    No, no!

Predictions are user data, so those will be lost forever. Never choose overwrite if a match already was predicted by players.

Or to put it another way: don’t use overwrite when the season has started. You should only use import to add matches.

P.s. the importer can only import basic game data to start a season. It cannot import end results and/or user predictions.

Got it! good thing i asked first!
So the only options I have is to update manually every game, or import the corrected matches via CSV and delete de duplicates manually.

    Thanxs Master Jedi!
