    Can Gravity Forms entries be used as source data for TablePress?

    If yes, how?

    I am extremely impressed with your plugin and extensions. Even more impressed on how you let people try it fully and trust them to donate if it works. And on top of that swift level of support. Keep up the great work! Will definitely donate if I end up using or just may for your efforts.

    I will lay out my dilemma and would appreciate it if you can give me some input on how to or if I can sort it out using TablePress.

    My site uses Gravity Forms to get orders. Currently I am using GravityView to display the data entries on the front-end for customers to keep track. From here the orders get more back-end data as its being processed like process status, dimensions etc. Currently we use excel to keep track of those data in the back end, with the tracking number being the common field.
    The issue arises because we process the shipment in batches like in 100’s-1000s in a batch. Makes it extremely time consuming to update the data to the front-end. Also, Gravity Forms is not very good at handling bulk updates.

    I am hoping I can somehow use TablePress to display data from Gravity Form entries AND excel sheet (or CSV) to show up on the front-end for the customers to see the additional back-end data.

    Hi,

    thanks for this explanation! Unfortunately, I can’t think of easy ways how TablePress could help here, right now 🙁
    The plugin’s use case is to display static table data on the frontend, but it doesn’t have querying capabilities like a normal database system. Your best chance therefore probably is a custom solution based e.g. on mySQL database table, into which you feed the data from Gravity Forms and Excel.
