• So I don’t know where to address this question but I’ll try here to see what kind of responses I get.

So I recently encountered a problem with the backend editor of WPBakeryPB where I created a long article with lots of images and text. On the front page (front end) the page loads fine but when I go to edit the article my whole website just locks up. I look on my cPanel to see what is going on, the I/O Usage (1MB/s) maxes out for like 30s-1min and the whole website just becomes unreachable from both back and front end.

I don’t know what to do in this scenario. I have the economy Linux plan from Godaddy. I want to make more articles like that in the future but not if editing them takes the whole website down.

I have a few choices at my disposal.
I can update de website plan to something else bigger, I can change the host altogether.
I can stop using the backend editor altogether (use the Gutenberg one) on long articles.

Keep in mind that the website is still small in the sense that I don’t have that much traffic yet. Investing more money to solve the problem might not actually solve it.

I can’t change the plugin to something else because the theme uses the plugin as a default. When I purchased the theme I did not know it used the WPBakery plugin and I worked with it in the past it’s just that I never encountered a problem like this before.

So I’m in a pickle here, help would be much appreciated.
